Who we are   Ecotouring Tuscany organizes and manages a wide range of cultural and environmental tours in the regions of Tuscany, Umbria and of Central Italy in general: art and history tours, hiking and biking tours, wine and gourmet tours, cooking and painting classes, courses of Italian language and culture, to name a few.   You may notice that there is not a precise schedule of most excursions, since the real strength of Ecotouring Tuscany is that we are flexible so to adjust to each traveller's needs. We do design personalized tours for solo travelers, couples and small groups of participants. We balance adventure with comfort in exceptional vacations. Our walks are about freedom - yours! Adriano Boncompagni holds a Ph.D. in Geography and has lectured Historical Geography of Tuscany at academic level across the world. He has worked and travelled extensively from Tuscany to California, Cambodia to Australia, and from Vietnam to Egypt.                                     All our guides are residents of Italy and consequently have an inside knowledge of the area. Among them you will find experts in anthropology, archaeology, architecture, art history, as well as numerous other specializations. They are all bilingual, jovial, fun-loving, and pleased to help you even when you go on a shopping spree. They may even introduce you to a game of briscola (a typical Italian card game) with the locals at the central cafe.
